Electrical devices
Voltage in Malta is 220 volts, if you plan on bringing electrical appliances that work on 110 volts, make sure to pack an appropriate power convertor and adapter plug. The official standard for electrical outlet sockets in Malta is the UK standard outlet. These adaptors can be bought from the hotel reception.
Weather
Malta enjoys some of the finest weather in the Mediterranean, we recommend adequate protection from the sun. Hats, sunglasses and sun block with a high UV rating in the summer are a must.
Religion
The Maltese islands boast some of the most magnificent Roman Catholic churches in the world. When visiting, remember that they are places of worship; dress adequately.
Swimming
Malta enjoys some of the cleanest seas in the Mediterranean. Enjoy its beaches, explore its alcoves.

Diving certificate
If you are coming to explore what lies beneath, do remember to pack your diving qualification, it shall avoid any unnecessary hiccups while planning your dives and also avoid disappointment.
Driving
Remember that Malta follows the British Rule: drive on the left. Since the St. Julian’s / Paceville area is problematic for parking, the Allegro has made exclusive arrangements for its guests so that they can park their car in a nearby underground car park at special rates.
